Bridgman Foundation for Educational Excellence Annual Golf Outing

In spite of chilly temperatures and a steady drizzle, everyone showed up excited and ready to play at this year’s event at Lost Dunes Golf Club. The Lost Dunes staff served golfers a delicious breakfast in the facility’s dining room before tee times were announced. The meal gave golfers energy to play on a great course in chilly temperatures and intermittent showers. After participants completed the course, the Foundation invited golfers to the Haymarket Brewery for food, refreshments and fun in rehashing all those missed putts.

We managed to keep everyone safe by adhering to COVId safety protocols. Everyone was required to wear a mask when inside and encouraged to maintain social distance between teams at all times. There were no complaints or problems. The Foundation appreciated the cheerful observance of the rules instituted to protect us all. Thank you, participants, for your cooperation at our event.

While we are still finalizing the numbers, we expect this year’s net income to meet the goal we set for the event. Thanks again to participants, the Lost Dunes Club and the Haymarket. Your efforts are critical to the Foundation’s mission to seek and distribute resources to expand and enrich learning opportunities for students in the Bridgman Public Schools.
